This privacy policy governs your use of the software application "Mangolier" (later referred as the "Application") for Android™ and iOS™ mobile devices, web browsers, and Windows™, macOS™, and Linux desktop platforms.
The Application is a game where the user controls a rolling pangolin that consumes mangos and avoids crashing into rocks and cliffs.
The Application does not require any user registration. The Application does not require the user to provide any personal information.
The Application will use the platform's gaming service to store achievements, e.g. Game Center™ or Play Games™ on iOS and Android respectively. If no gaming service is available for the user's platform, achievement data is stored locally on the device.
The Application stores high scores locally on the device. High scores can also be shared with a global leaderboard, using the username specified through the platform's gaming service or a custom display name if no such gaming service exists.
Sharing of high scores is opt-in. The user will be prompted on the first launch of the game to decide if they wish to post their high scores to the global leaderboard. This choice can be modified at any time by changing the "Share High Scores" option in the "Settings" section of the Application.
High scores achieved while using the Application are recorded locally. High scores are also optionally submitted to a global leaderboard depending on the user's preference. Scores on the global leaderboard use the display name specified by the user, or the display name associated with platform's gaming service if applicable.
The Application does not share any personal information automatically with third parties.
The Application does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device, web browser, or desktop platform.
High scores stored on the global leaderboard can be deleted by using the "Reset" button in the "High Scores" section of the Application.
Sharing of high scores with the global leaderboard can be disabled by unchecking the "Share High Scores" box in the "Settings" section of the Application.
You can delete all locally stored game data by uninstalling the Application from your mobile device, clearing browsing data in your web browser, or removing the Application from your desktop platform. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device application marketplace, web browser, or desktop computer.
The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. We do not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.
The Application does not directly handle user authentication, passwords, or sensitive data. Authentication with platform-specific gaming services like Game Center or Play Games is handled by the device APIs made available by the service providers.
Please be aware that, although we endeavor provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches (e.g., a zero-day attack targeting a mobile Operating System - OS).
In order to ensure an optimal security, you shall regularly install any Application's update available from the applicable application marketplace.
We also advise you to regularly check for any mobile OS, web browser, or desktop platform update(s) that could be available and to enable automatic updates.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy at www.mangolier.com/privacy.html and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
By using the Application, you consent to the local processing of your information. When the "Share High Scores" option is enabled in the Application's "Settings" page, you consent to having you high scores saved to global leaderboards using your chosen display name.
At any time, no User Provided Data will be shared, processed and/or stored by third parties. User Provided Data cannot and will never be sold to any other third parties.
